Write a Song for Christmas Concert
In December 2023 Saffron Walden Initiative organised a ‘Write a Song for Christmas’ competition and at the Winstanley Christmas Late Night Shopping evening the Mayoress, Heather Asker, presented Elliott Porter with the winner’s certificate. His winning entry CHRISTMAS IN MY HEART was then performed for everyone to enjoy. Second Place went to Sakara Pritchard for MY CHRISTMAS WISH and Third Place was awarded to Sienna Denton for SANTA ON HIS WAY.
On Sunday 8th December 2024 there is a Concert at Fairycroft House so that you can hear last year's songs performed live. Doors open at 6.00pm and the show starts at 6.30pm
Tickets £6.00 for adults and £2.50 for children. The Concert supports the Saffron Walden Young Carers based at Fairycroft House.
