The Initiative went ahead on Friday 6th December 2024 with extreme care and attention. Over 30 traders and charities were in and around the Market Square and King Street, live stage throughout and everyone had the mindset to raise funds for the Young Carers based at Fairycroft House. The weather held and lots of families enjoyed Father Christmas, who gave out 150 presents freely.
Four choirs, Lara & Casey Dawkins, Torino Green, Glory Holes, Harry Salmon all wowed the audience. We thank our sponsors, Saffron Walden Town Council, Richard Porch, Derosa Music Academy, Saffron Building Society, Mart's Arts Photography and Print.com.
Initiative & Saffron Walden Arts Trust volunteers were assisted tirelessly by Mark, Carl & Dave from the Town Council, Three D events and Tim Atkinson. The sound crew were Lee Dorrington & Anna Percival.
